Victoria II

Edit this page

Victoria II is a grand strategy game played during the colonial era of the 19th century, where the player takes control of a country, guiding it through industrialisation, political reforms, military conquest, and colonisation, to finally become a truly great power by the early 20th century. In this game the domestic front holds greater importance than simply conquering neighbours, with a focus on economic development as the world enters the industrial era. The time frame of the game is 1836-1936. (Adapted from various sources)

This is version 1.3 of the base game without expansions. The Get Info displays v. 1.0.2, but the game splash screen shows v. 1.3. This copy of the game does not require registration or activation. The game is no longer sold by the publisher.

The expansion, A House Divided, was released in 2012. This was followed in 2013 by the release of Heart of Darkness which also includes the base game and A House Divided.
