This is a children's adventure game that is enjoyable for people of all ages, and is based on the "Muppet Treasure Island" movie. The game consists of 4 sections, each with a series of simple tasks to accomplish. There are also 2 hours of full-screen videos, featuring Tim Curry and Billy Conolly from the movie, providing live-action entertainment (MobyGames). The game resources are toast images, compressed with StuffIt 5.5 software.
The required system specifications include a 68LC040-66/33 MHz or PowerPC, Mac OS 7.5.1, and at least 8MB of RAM (an additional 8MB of virtual RAM is required for PowerPC). We recommend 16MB of RAM for best performance. The game needs 3MB of hard disk space and supports 256 colors at a 640x480 resolution, ideally on a 13-inch monitor.
